The history says that Stirling Moss was the best driver, never to be a world champion. Ronnie Peterson must come on a very close second. He was known as a hard driver, always giving his maximum, powersliding and oppotite-locking his car to the limit and beyond. Off the racetrack he was calm and everyone liked him. He stod up for his word and everyone respekted him.

I made this page as a tribute to one of the greatest racingdrivers ever. I can still remember the start at Monza, when he crashed, with tears in my eyes. And I hope that no one never forgets him...

He started his career with carting in the early sixties. His father Bengt was building his carts and later his cars too. Then the next step was F3. He won the Swedish championship both 1968 and 1969. 1969 he was outstanding in the whole europe!

He continued with F2 and become European champion 1971. He also competed in sportscars and then of course F1... Below you can follow his F1 career step by step until the end...
